Area and volume

Area and volume come up from time to time on the Digital SAT Math section, for single shapes and for shapes put together. The good news is that many formulas are on the reference sheet in the test screen. What you need to practice is picking the right one and putting in the numbers.

This lesson goes from the area of flat shapes to the volume and surface area of solids, then practices questions where you also need to change units. Animations unfold the solids so you can see them. A quiz after each part and practice questions mix shapes and units.
