How the test works and how to prepare

Before you study SAT Math, it helps to know what the test looks like. The Digital SAT Math section has two modules, and the second module changes with how well you do in the first one. Knowing this early means fewer surprises on test day.

This lesson uses short animated pictures to show how the test is built, how much time you have, and how guessing works. Then you get a simple study plan and a checklist for test day. Each part ends with a quick quiz. If you are teaching yourself SAT Math, start here.
