Quadratic equations
A quadratic equation like x² − 5x + 6 = 0 shows up regularly on the Digital SAT Math section, both as "find x" questions and as questions about how many solutions there are.
This lesson teaches solving quadratics by factoring and with the quadratic formula. Then you use the discriminant to tell how many solutions there are. Each step is animated, and each part has a quiz and practice questions. Each method comes with a clear example, and you learn when to pick factoring and when to use the formula.
