Polynomials: expand and factor

A polynomial is an expression like x² + 5x + 6. On the Digital SAT Math section you need to expand and factor quickly, because this is the base for quadratic equations and many other questions.

This lesson starts with expanding polynomials in a way you can picture, then moves to factoring: pulling out common factors and factoring quadratics. Every step is animated, each part has a quiz and there are practice questions. We start with small examples, so the method feels easy before the harder questions arrive.
