Samples, margin of error and claims
These questions ask whether a survey of a small group can tell you about everyone. The Digital SAT Math section covers samples, margin of error and deciding which conclusion makes sense.
This lesson shows how to tell if a sample was chosen well and who the result applies to. Then you read a margin of error as a range, and learn the difference between a cause and a simple link. A quiz after each part helps you spot a weak conclusion. Examples come from surveys and school polls, and each answer is explained in plain words.
