Scatterplots and models
A scatterplot shows whether two kinds of numbers are connected, like hours of study and test score. The Digital SAT Math section often gives you a trend line and asks you to read a value or make a prediction.
This lesson teaches you to read scatterplots, draw and read a line of best fit, and use its equation to predict values. You also practice saying what the slope and intercept mean in the story. A quiz after each part checks that you can read the graph. Every graph comes with a plain-words explanation of what the points tell you.
