Systems of linear equations
A system of linear equations is two equations that you solve together to find the answer that fits both. On the Digital SAT Math section they often appear as word problems, like buying two kinds of items or comparing two price plans.
This lesson teaches both substitution and elimination. Then you learn how many solutions a system can have, which you can tell from the slopes. Animated pictures show the lines crossing, each part has a quiz and there are practice questions. Practice questions include the word problems the SAT likes to use.
