Slope and lines
Slope tells you how steep a line is, and it is at the center of the line questions on the Digital SAT Math section. Once you understand slope and intercepts, many questions become simple substitution.
This lesson starts with slope, then moves to y = mx + b, parallel lines and perpendicular lines. After that you learn standard form and intercepts. Animated pictures show the line moving as the numbers change. Each part has a quiz, and the practice questions mix reading lines with writing their equations. Each idea is tied to a picture of the line, so you never memorize a formula without seeing it.
